Description

As the core of Libra, a blocked interdisciplinary program, English 1301 emphasizes analytical and critical thinking through writing assignments across academic disciplines. The student will learn how to use class discussions and readings as the basis for composing organized and well-developed essays. Students work in collaborative groups to analyze and challenge ideas and learn how to revise and edit their work effectively. Additionally, students will be provided with practice in grammar, vocabulary enrichment, and sentence structure.
