This course will analyze the distribution and determinants of health and disease in different populations and the application of methods to improve disease outcomes. This course will introduce students to the basic principles, uses and applications of epidemiology in public health and health services. The course will discuss the biological, behavioral, sociocultural, and environmental factors correlated with the etiology and distribution of disease.
