This course introduces the student to information systems as applied to business organizations and the management of those systems. The course will explore issues of security and the ethical use of technology in society as well as applications of various currently used software in a business environment. Students will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in such software as word processors, spreadsheets, and database management and presentation programs.
